Malin:
Our office manager. "Monster Malin" has been
working with Sweden's biggest tour operator for many years,
and now finally, she could not resist the temptation to
work with Colona, what can we do more than just to be happy..
Her favorite food is spaghetti carbonara, and Pizza "Hawai"
without pineapple...good to know if you plan a date. |

Mini
Aymen:
Dive master with a lot of safari guiding experience. Mini
sometimes dresses in very colorful clothes to make all the
people happy. These days he is a grown up married man..?!

Ali:
Friendly and professional Dive Master who has lots
of experience in safaris and guiding daily trips. He speaks
English, French and Arabic. |

Bassem:
He started his diving career in Colona and is a part
of the team. He is now an instructor but also one of our
safari specialists who loves to stay out in the blue. |

Dorota:
Dorota is one of our Polish speaking instructors. She has
been with us for quite long time now (is it 6 years now!?).
She is GUE instructor and GUE T2 diver so she also takes
care for tech diving in Colona. You can meet her walking
around with double tanks on her back or alternatively stealing
Mini Yasser?s chocolate

Bart:
Bart is one of our Polish instructor, that also speaks French
(but he is not always admitting that). He is also one of
our tech guides (holds GUE T1 rating). In the dive center
his domain is the workshop, so if you do not see him hanging
around with his tea cup, he is probably on the boat guiding
or in the workshop trying to put together all the valves,
regs and tanks. |

Ola:
Ola is now our IDC staff instructor. He discovered diving
while he was working as a tourleader in Egypt. During his
dive education at Colona, he decided to leave the tourleader
profession to work as a dive instructor full time. We are
happy to have him in our team! |

Roland:
He is our German instructor who has an excellent knowledge
about the Red Sea. Even if he is our oldtimer. he never
hesitates to make 3 dives on a day and is eager to catch
the night dive boat! |

Elin:
Elin came to Egypt to make her Advanced course with us.
At the same time she decided to become a Divemaster. She
moved to Egypt, fell in love with the Red Sea and later
on our instructor Ola. |

Gunnar:
Gunnar is our swedish/german/english speaking instructor,
who says it is a privilege to work in Egypt! He is
currently trying to build an underwater scooter from a Chevy
V8 to get faster down to his beloved wrecks. |

Anna:
Anna is our newest star and after finishing her dive education with us she
choose to stay to our and our guests delight. As a skilled Divemaster and
future doctor to be she will take good care of you!

Frederik:
Fredrik is our TDI-instructor that came back to us after a season in Thailand, when his longing for the Red Sea grew to strong. He is very much the same, except that he needs a new wetsuit and more led on the weight belt. Did the Red Sea get saltier Fredrik?

Nasser:
Snorkel guide who likes to dance for the guests on the boat,
especially if there are pretty girls amongst the guests.
We just celebrated his 75th birthday, so now he is the oldest
snorkel guide in the world. Almost antique! |

Ateef:
Snorkel guide with a laugh that is very contagious. Often
seen dancing with Nasser on the boats. Ateef is pumping
iron every night after work and hopes to take Arnold's place
as Mr. Universe

Bedawe:
Works as compressor boy and as Colonas private body
guard...quite an easy job when you are the holder of championship
in black belt karate!

Hamdi:
Compressor room and Rogers house is where he works. He is
also an excellent teacher in exotic words of arabic. |

Abu
el Naga
He is our ”all in one”, making sure that the
tanks are fully filled and that the divecenter is shining.
He is also controling our donkey Roger, like a radio-controlled
car. |

Roger:
This friendly chap works as the technical advisor at
Colona Hurghada. Besides working out during office-hours,
he enjoys the company of his friendly colleagues. On his
older days he has started to attend Finnish tango lessons
in order to finally attract a wife.. |
