Technical diving is more popular, fashionable and desired then ever. On almost every dive site you can find macho guys walking around with two tanks on their backs looking cool. But there is more behind it — except the looks. There is a new dimension of diving waiting for those who dare to try and have the stubbornness to continue. You will find new challenges that can be taken up, new taboos that can be broken and new values that will enrich you.

Not all can tech dive. It is a dive activity that requires good fitness, strength, common sense and a special spirit — of a person that overcomes its own limits. A person that is ready to dedicate themselves to diving.

Tech diving is not record breaking. It is not depth pursuit. It is not macho looking.

It is rewarding exploration and challenge.

It is an adventure that never stops, because always there is something new to discover, see or learn. But it is only when done safely and reasonable. If you want to see, what only a small group of divers have seen before — just start! And keep going...

At Colona we welcome technical divers that wish to dive safely and reasonably. We do not support deep air diving. We DO support proper equipment and gases configuration, sound planning and organisation. Both open and close circuit divers are welcome.

Colona Divers is one of the worlds few GUE affiliated dive centers.
